Tarte also shared an apology on their Instagram stories, which reads as follows: "It may be too little too late, but we can assure you this was not meant in any kind of malicious way. Unfortunately for many, the release didn't live up to the hype, but Tarte have acknowledged their mistake and reassured customers that 10 more shades will be released soon (though the brand hasn't confirmed these shades will cater to those with darker skin).
